This office and staff are top tier . These days it’s hard to find someone who makes you feel heard and their availability is amazing ! 20/10 would recommend!!!

Went to the ER last Friday.\n They gave me a week off. I did not want a whole week off. Call the doctor's office Wayne primary care on east ave. And told them my situation, the earliest they could do\n Was Thursday to call 8 o'clock in the morning? And I should be able to get in by 9, they're nothing but liars, I was not able to get in and it was a big hassle. I would not recommend Wayne primary care on sixth and east ave. In fact, I have an appointment Friday.I will not be showing , that's how disappointing they are

I am -- or was -- receiving telehealth psychiatry services from a different region in PA. The local office was warm and welcoming but I was to receive psychiatry out of this Erie office. Absolute nightmare from the start. After nearly 20 years being involved in mental health services, the psychiatrist here is by far the most condescending and uncompassionate person I have ever had the displeasure of working with. Right off the bat, I was put into an extremely uncomfortable position and was told the session would end if I did not comply. I was interrupted and spoken to like an illiterate child as well. The psychiatrist would explain things to me in a condescending tone that was beyond unnecessary, even after I explained I understood the process. Then, I was ordered to give a urine screen within 24 hours, which I tried to explain was impossible due to lack of transportation. After pulling every string I possibly could, I was unable to provide the urine sample within that unreasonable time frame. The local office was willing to work with me and schedule the urine screen one day later, but then I received a call from the Erie office saying if I do not provide the urine sample within

Do not use this organization. We were referred to them for mental health services for our child. Shortly after our first meeting, the psychiatrist that we were seeing was let go. No one picked up his case load and so my daughter just fell off the radar. A month or two later, we followed up by trying to call. We were then informed that they were not going to follow up on a referral that the former psychiatrist told us they would do. When we pushed back to ask them why they weren't all of a sudden, the receptionist told us we would have to find our own resource. When we again asked why this was the case and why they couldn't pick up the case where the former psychiatrist left off, the receptionist said, "What, you don't want to call for your child?" Implying that we didn't care enough about our child to do the legwork of finding a resource. At this point, I confronted the receptionist and told them we were not going to be using their services any longer. Not only can they not ensure caseloads are managed, the staff are unprofessional.

I have always been very happy with the kindness and professionalism displayed by everyone at Wayne. They have almost always been able to get me in quickly if I needed a last minute appointment, though, like everyone else, COVID slowed things down. But I could always reach a nurse on the phone. The Nurse Practitioner I really liked has recently moved to another clinic, but the ‘new’ NP, Brandon Adams, is carrying on the excellent and personable care! The location is close to home, though parking can be a bit tight with most of the parking lot reserved for United Way.
